CNC Machining

We can produce block models, patterns or moulds, in any material specified by our customers. Whether the requirement is a foam concept model or a short run of metal or plastic components, our expertise in this field will offer the best solution for your Prototyping requirements. Using the very latest Hypermill software to create tool paths, we can accept IGES, Catia or Step data and can build from very small, intricate parts up to large parts 800x2000x800mm.

Concept Models
Concept models provide invaluable early help in communicating design information can be produced quickly and cost effectively in foam, modelling board or as SLA and SLA models. Used early in the design process, they will significantly reduce production times and long term costs.

Metal Castings
We offer castings in aluminium, zinc, and brass using various techniques including Investment Casting, sand casting and CNC machining as well as all post machining, finishing, X ray, etc.

Investment Casting wax patterns can be produced from silicone tools using accurate SLA models as master patterns. 'Quickcast' SLA models, Thermojet wax models, and SLS models can also be burnt out directly to produce fast and precise one off metal components.

Complex castings can be produced to high accuracy and surface finish, allowing greater scope of design and we can accomodate quantities from one offs to low volume production.

Vacuum Casting
Vacuum Casting is a fast and economical process used to create near production polyurethane components from silicone tools. Parts can be used for design verification, product testing, photography, packaging, toolmaking aids, and even as short run production components.

Plastic parts can be faithfully replicated in a wide range of casting resins, which will closely simulate production thermoplastics, rubbers, and waxes. Castings with good optical clarity, flame retardancy, high impact strength and high temperature resistance allow a fully functional, working unit within a few days!
